Founded in London in 1962 by David Morris, the House of David Morris has epitomized British creativity and craftsmanship for over six decades. Recognized as one of the most prestigious names in the jewellery world, David Morris continues to captivate clients with its sought-after designs, crafted from some of the rarest and most exquisite gemstones.
Emerging in the vibrant era of 1960s in London, the House of David Morris has consistently stood as a beacon of British design ingenuity. For nearly 60 years, it has remained committed to its core values of meticulous handcraftsmanship, bold innovation, and dazzling use of colour.
Often nicknamed James Bond’s jeweller, David Morris has created iconic pieces for some of the classic 007 films, including Diamonds Are Forever, The Man with the Golden Gun, and Tomorrow Never Dies. The brand has also graced the red carpet on Hollywood’s biggest stars, such as Dame Judi Dench, Olivia Colman, and Shania Twain, who wore its designs most recently at the 2023 Brit Awards. Other notable clients include Kate Winslet, Beyoncé, and Winnie Harlow.
David Morris, celebrated as a distinguished British heritage brand, has also formed connections with royalty. One notable example is the Aston Martin driven by the Prince and Princess of Wales after their 2011 wedding—a gift from Queen Elizabeth II to King Charles III on his 21st birthday, featuring a dragon sculpture by David Morris, designed on the Queen’s request.
The House’s High Jewellery pieces remain a favorite among prominent collectors, with admirers including Elizabeth Taylor, Queen Noor of Jordan, Celine Dion, and Oprah Winfrey. Alongside its High Jewellery creations, David Morris is equally celebrated for its Fine Jewellery and bridal designs, specializing in diamond tiaras and elegantly crafted engagement and wedding rings. The Fortuna Collection, known for its vibrant semi-precious stones, has become a best-seller, while the House’s signature rose-cut diamonds captivate in wedding bands, eternity rings, and other exquisite collections.
One of the few British jewellers still family-run, the House saw Jeremy Morris take the helm from its founder in 2003 as CEO and Creative Director. With his unmatched talent for selecting extraordinary gemstones and a bold approach to colour, Jeremy ensures that every David Morris jewel is a true masterpiece.
The global vision of the House of David Morris has found its path to the 2024 China International Import Expo (CIIE) from November 5 to 10. On a broader international stage, the CIIE was announced in May 2017 by Chinese President Xi Jinping as part of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. Launched in 2018, this initiative underscores China’s commitment to trade liberalization and economic globalization. The Expo provides a vital platform for global brands to enter and expand within the Chinese market, fostering economic ties and collaboration across different nations.

In the interview by Gem Spectrum magazine, Jeremy Morris, CEO and Creative Director said that Participating in the 2024 China International Import Expo (CIIE) showcases the brand’s commitment to expanding horizons in China and sharing our exceptional craftsmanship with Chinese consumers.
“As one of the world’s largest luxury markets, China offers an incredible opportunity for growth. CIIE provides a unique platform for connecting with Chinese consumers, introducing David Morris’ heritage of bespoke High Jewellery and iconic designs to a new audience. Exhibiting at CIIE highlights our mission of bringing British luxury to Shanghai, sharing David Morris’ history as a British jeweller with a global perspective and offering a unique perspective on jewellery to Chinese audiences,” he further noted.
The David Morris Showcase in CIIE
Mystic Cove
As one of the centre pieces displayed in CIIE, the David Morris Aquissima necklace is an important piece from the Mystic Cove collection, with 50.73ct white diamonds, including a 15.22ct D coloured Internationally Flawless marquise white diamond, 14.06ct Paraiba tourmaline, including a 9.58ct pear shape Paraiba tourmaline, and 5.60ct blue spinels, set in 18ct white gold.
The Mystic Cove collection invites the audience to plunge beneath the tranquil waters of an idyllic lagoon, engulfed by exotic flowers, wild foliage, and accompanied by tropical birdsong. This hidden utopia reveals its precious secrets as we delve into its depths, seeking untold treasures.
Miss Daisy
Launched in 2017, Miss Daisy has become one of the house’s best-selling collections, beloved for its charming floral motifs inspired by the delicate beauty of an English garden. The collection’s original white diamond pieces have since been joined by designs in the highly colourful gemstones, and trend-led creations such as hair accessories and a safety-pin brooch design.
Now, the beautiful new Miss Daisy Akoya Pearl designs – encompassing earrings, rings, necklaces and an on-trend ear cuff and spectacular tiara – offer a multiple ways to wear this timeless collection. The new Miss Daisy designs from David Morris fuse sparkling pear-shaped petals in the brand’s signature rose cut diamonds with cultured Akoya pearls, known for their perfectly round shape, wonderful lustre and metallic-like sheen.
Riviera
“Riviera is our take on a classic rivière necklace,” says Jeremy Morris, CEO and Creative Director of David Morris. “A celebration of those gemstones that have been part of our repertoire from the very beginning, diamonds and pink sapphires are showcased in sleek, finely crafted silhouettes that sit lightly on the skin and are very easy to wear. These clean-lined, contemporary designs represent our definition of timeless at David Morris.”
Fortuna
Named after the ancient Roman goddess of fortune, the new Fortuna fine jewellery collection explores the fascinating themes of luck and destiny through designs that deftly combine classic House signatures with a strong female influence. Symbolic of the ‘wheel of fortune’ associated with the Goddess Fortuna, and the cyclic nature of life, circular motifs and silhouettes are used across the collection’s designs.
