Industry advocate and community builder selected to lead the world’s premier colored gemstone organization


The International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) is pleased to welcome Brandee Dallow as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective July 6, 2026. Dallow will work closely with the Board of Directors and membership to strengthen engagement, expand collaboration, and build upon ICA’s long-standing role as the leading international voice for the colored gemstone sector.
Since 1984, ICA has brought together colored gemstone professionals from around the world to promote trade, education, ethical business practices, and consumer confidence. Today, the Association includes nearly 700 industry leaders from mine to market, representing 47 countries. Through its global network, international congresses, educational initiatives, and industry advocacy, ICA has played a vital role in advancing and supporting the colored gemstone sector.
As ICA looks to the future, Dallow brings a unique combination of association leadership, business experience, and stakeholder engagement, along with a deep commitment to advancing the organizations and initiatives that support the jewelry and colored gemstone sectors.
Throughout her career, she has earned a reputation for building consensus, strengthening organizations, and advancing initiatives that support growth, education, and collaboration across the jewelry and colored gemstone sectors.
Beyond her executive career, Dallow has become one of the industry’s most active and respected volunteer leaders. She is a Past International President of both the Women’s Jewelry Association and the Women’s Jewelry Association Foundation, currently serves as President of Community for Ethical Jewelry, and has contributed her leadership and expertise to numerous organizations dedicated to advancing ethics, education, governance, and professional development.
Her experience spans mining, manufacturing, certification, retail, responsible sourcing, communications, and association management, giving her a broad perspective on the opportunities and challenges shaping today’s gemstone market. She has held leadership positions with organizations including De Beers (J. Walter Thompson), Rio Tinto Diamonds, the Responsible Jewellery Council, and Grandview Klein Diamonds, where she most recently served as Chief Communications and Sustainability Officer.

Dallow assumes leadership of ICA at an exciting time for the colored gemstone sector, with new opportunities for innovation, education, and engagement emerging across the global industry. She expressed gratitude for the Board’s confidence and enthusiasm for working alongside ICA’s members to build on the Association’s legacy while helping shape its future.
