An Opportunity Emerged from Eastern YiXiang China Fashion Gala: A Deep Dialogue Between Chinese and Western Jewelry Cultures

The invitation for Chinese enterprises to participate in this exhibition originated from the 2nd Eastern YiXiang China Fashion Gala, which was successfully held in Shenzhen in 2024.

The Gala, themed “The Splendor of National Charm,” attracted many distinguished international guests from the jewelry world, including Monica Cecchini, founder, president, and art gallery director of Roma Jewelry Week; Barbara Brocchi, head of the IED Jewelry Design Department; and Miss Gio, an internationally renowned high jewelry opinion leader and blogger. During the event, through her in-depth understanding of the participating companies and their designers’ works, Monica gained a new appreciation for the innovation and cultural depth of China’s gold and jewelry industry. She praised the Eastern YiXiang China Fashion Gala as “a platform for East-West jewelry exchange with profound cultural depth and international influence” and immediately extended an invitation to the Gala’s organizing committee for outstanding Chinese companies to bring their works to the 2025 Roma Jewelry Week, to showcase China’s original creative power and Eastern aesthetics in the international jewelry art exhibition area.

Ms. Xiong Bing (Sally Xiong), Chief Planner and Project Executive Director of the Eastern YiXiang China Fashion Gala, was formally invited by Monica Cecchini to be the sole international judge from the Asia-Pacific region for the 2025 Roma Jewelry Week Global Design Competition. During Rome Jewelry Week, she represented the Asia-Pacific region with her professional perspective, providing expert evaluation opinions with both international stature and an Eastern viewpoint for global jewelry designers. At the same time, Ms. Xiong Bing spoke on stage three times, infusing a distinct “Chinese perspective” into the event:

At the awards ceremony, she presented an award to a winner from Mexico and shared the significance of cross-cultural jewelry exchange through the example of “Chinese design going global,” proposing the concept that “jewelry culture has no borders, and creativity connects the world.”
