1,100+ exhibitors bring the world of jewellery to Hong Kong
Some of the most anticipated jewellery and gemstone collections of the year are set to debut next month at Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (JGA) − one of the world’s largest B2B jewellery buying destinations, Informa Markets Jewellery announced on May 20 2026.
From 18 – 21 June, JGA will take over the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and serve as the launchpad for the latest and finest offerings of 1,100+ exhibitors representing 30+ countries and regions. Consisting of two co-located fairs, featuring approximately 30 pavilions combined, this jewellery marketplace serves as a hub for sourcing products and building industry connections.
Online buyer pre-registration is open until 7 June. Successful registrants will enjoy the convenience of fast-track badge collection, ensuring a smoother and more efficient start to their JGA experience.

Two shows, one venue
JGA: Jewellery in Hall 1 covers all the bases when it comes to finished jewellery, from retail favourites to dramatic pieces designed to impress. Here, buyers will discover creations adorned with diamonds, coloured gemstones, pearls and other precious materials, alongside collections in plain metal. Further enriching the fair experience is the CORE Pavilion, a centrepiece of Hong Kong’s enduring reputation for innovation in design and jewellery manufacturing − be it bespoke creations or high-volume quality production. For buyers looking for standout pieces to meet year-round demand, this pavilion is a must-visit.
Meanwhile, Hall 3 hosts JGA: Diamonds, Gemstones & Pearls+, which presents a broad array of loose precious materials from all major supply and trading centres worldwide. One of its attractions is the Fine Design/Fine Gem Pavilion, consisting of select exhibitors whose collections are coveted by legacy brands, premium retailers, high jewellery artisans and discerning collectors. Thursday, 18 June | 2:30pm – 4pm
Informa and the Diamond Federation of Hong Kong, China Limited (DFHK) will present a panel discussion titled “Winning Strategies for Natural Diamond Jewellery in ASEAN+ Markets.” Representatives from major jewellery retail companies will participate in the discussion, moderated by Victor Yiu, Director of Zuri Jewelry Co Ltd. The session will be conducted in English with AI-assisted Mandarin captions.
Friday, 19 June | 2:30pm – 3:30pm
Jewellery entrepreneurs and designers Hiroko Saito of H-iron, Payal Shah of L’Dezen and Victoria Yu of Joywith Jewellery will share their experiences and strategies for creating standout pieces with coloured gemstones. Their panel discussion, “Winning Hearts with Colour: Designing Coloured Gemstone Jewellery that Buyers Will Love,” will be conducted in English with AI-assisted Mandarin captions.
Saturday, 20 June | 11:30am – 12:30pm
The Gemmological Association of Hong Kong Limited (GAHK) will present a seminar on “Unravelling the Magical Colour-Change Effects of Gemstones.” Featured speakers include GAHK’s Chun Ming Lee and Sunny Lo. This session will be conducted in Cantonese.
Saturday, 20 June | 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Ryuichiro Machizawa of the Japan Pearl Promotion Society and Yumiko Ijichi of the Japan Pearl Exporters’ Association will lead the “Japan Pearl Seminar – History, Quality and Sustainability.” They will offer insights into the evolution of pearl quality standards, market trends and sustainability initiatives driving innovation in Japan’s pearl sector. The session will be conducted in English with simultaneous interpretation in Mandarin.
7. Designers to watch
Adding to the excitement, around 120 designs have reached the finals of Informa’s Gender-Fluid Coloured Gem Jewellery Design Challenge. The entries will be displayed at Stand 1C302 in the CORE Pavilion (Hall 1), hosted by the competition’s principal sponsor and manufacturing partner, Hong Kong-based jeweller EJI. Visitors and exhibitors may vote for their favourite designs onsite, bringing a public voice to complement the judging panel’s evaluations. Expert judges include Payal Shah of L’Dezen and Victoria Yu of Joywith.
Nine winning designs will be selected − three from each category: Brooch, Earrings and Ring. These will be brought to life in collaboration with EJI and coloured gemstone sponsor RMC Gems HK Co, with additional collaborators to be announced shortly. The finished pieces will be showcased at JGW in September, offering design students a platform to showcase their work, gain industry recognition and connect with professionals in the field
Winners will be awarded a trip to JGW 2026, ownership of their completed jewellery piece, editorial coverage and an award certificate. The honours will be conferred during the Awards Ceremony at the JGW Fair Reception, scheduled for 16 September at the HKCEC.
