1. Milestone and Legacy
What does the 20th anniversary of SIJE signify for the event and the jewellery industry in Southeast Asia? Why is Singapore strategically important to IEG Group, a well-known show organiser originated from Italy?
The 20th anniversary of SIJE marks a significant milestone not just for the event, but for the entire jewellery industry in Southeast Asia. Over the past two decades, SIJE has evolved into a trusted platform for connection, collaboration, and commerce where international brands engage with discerning collectors, retailers, and connoisseurs.
For IEG Group, Singapore is a strategic anchor in Asia. It is a global city with strong infrastructure and international accessibility. Singapore’s position as a financial and cultural hub makes it the ideal gateway to the Southeast Asian market — one of the world’s fastest-growing regions for fine jewellery and luxury.

2. Event Highlights
With over 414 exhibitors from 26 countries, what are some of the key attractions and unique experiences visitors can look forward to at SIJE 2025?
Visitors can expect an immersive experience with over 400 exhibitors from over 25 countries representing a rich mix of global talent. Key highlights include the new seven curated communities — such as Icon and Timeless — which spotlights high-end jewellery and fine timepieces.
The others include:
- Prestige showcases finished fine jewellery
- Facets offers a deep dive into loose diamonds, pearls, and gemstones
- Venture explores cutting-edge technology and innovation in jewellery manufacturing
- Bijou gives a platform to independent designers
- Essence is where experimental design and conceptual jewellery meet
Other highlights would be exclusive pavilions, such as the Italian Pavilion, showcasing refined European artistry, and the Singapore Pavilion that celebrates local designers and homegrown brands.
Visitors can also enjoy exciting rewards from the 20th Anniversary Draw, Grand Lucky Draw and Special Draw alongside value-added experiences through our VisitorXperience programme — including travel discounts to and from the event venue, retail and dining deals, as well as exclusive hotel preferential rates.

3. Cultural Significance
How does the Brilliante Jewellery Design Competition, commemorating Singapore’s 60th year of independence, reflect the intersection of national pride and cross-cultural artistic exchange?
The Brilliante Jewellery Design Competition is a celebration of both creative vision and national pride. In honour of Singapore’s 60th year of independence, this initiative invites designers to draw inspiration from Singapore’s unique cultural identity while connecting with international design narratives. It not only nurtures local talent but also fosters meaningful dialogue between regional and global aesthetics.
4. Italian Pavilion
The Italian Pavilion is a major highlight of SIJE 2025. What makes Italian jewellery craftsmanship stand out, and what can visitors expect from this showcase?
Italian jewellery is known for its technical mastery and elegance. The Italian Pavilion at SIJE 2025 is bigger than before, bringing together some of Italy’s most distinguished jewellers, each offering a blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary flair. Visitors can expect intricately detailed pieces and innovative designs that reflect centuries of goldsmithing heritage. It’s a rare opportunity to discover these brands all under one roof, right here in Singapore.
5. Trendvision Roadshow
Can you share more about the Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting Roadshow and how it will help trade visitors and buyers understand future trends in luxury and jewellery?
The Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting Roadshow, curated by IEG’s in-house trend agency, offers exclusive insights through research into the future of luxury, consumer behaviour, and design directions. It provides a stop for industry professionals who want to stay ahead of the curve.
Through detailed research and global trend analysis, the roadshow highlights key themes shaping the jewellery market — from materials and craftsmanship to sustainability and generational preferences. For retailers, designers, and buyers, it offers actionable intelligence that can inform their product development, sourcing strategies, and brand positioning in a rapidly evolving landscape.

6. Visitor Engagement
SIJE 2025 offers several rewards and perks, such as the 20th Anniversary Draw and Spend & Redeem rewards. How do these initiatives enhance the overall visitor experience?
Our Spend & Redeem initiative offers exclusive gifts, including pearl jewellery, while the 20th Anniversary Draw, Grand Lucky Draw and Special Draw gives visitors the chance to win luxury prizes. These initiatives are designed not only to thank our visitors, but also to make their time with us memorable.
Our curated VisitorXperience programme has been thoughtfully curated to enhance every aspect of the visitor journey — there are perks such as dining privileges, retail discounts, travel discounts to and from the event venue, and preferential rates at selected hotels to provide an all-encompassing local experience for visitors.
7. Economic Impact
With Southeast Asia’s jewellery market projected to surpass US$9.4 billion in 2025, how does SIJE contribute to the growth and development of the regional jewellery industry?
SIJE plays a vital role in connecting Southeast Asia’s emerging demand with global supply. SIJE serves as a key business platform linking international brands with regional distributors, retailers, and collectors.
Beyond trade, SIJE also contributes to the industry’s ecosystem through talent development, education, and market insights. Our focus on innovation and collaborations helps to raise the regional profile of Southeast Asia as not just a consumer market, but also a centre for creativity and craftsmanship.
8. Future Vision
As SIJE continues to grow, what are your aspirations for the event for the next few years and in the next decade, and how do you plan to maintain its status as Southeast Asia’s premier jewellery showcase?
Looking ahead, our vision is to strengthen SIJE’s position as a leading destination for international jewellery and luxury not only for consumers, but also for serious trade engagement and global collaboration. In the next few years, we aim to grow the show’s international footprint, strengthen the presence of emerging brands, and further elevate the curated experience across all seven of our show communities.
Our BuyerX initiative is also instrumental to SIJE’s future, allowing us to bring in qualified trade buyers from Asia and beyond, matching them with the right exhibitors to facilitate meaningful business exchanges. We plan to scale this initiative in the years ahead, offering even more tailored matchmaking, sourcing sessions, and opportunities for buyers and sellers alike.

Looking further ahead, I am deeply honoured to announce a major milestone for Singapore and the regional industry. After nearly four decades, the World Diamond Congress — jointly organised by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association — will return to Singapore in 2026. This historic event will take place as part of Diamond Luxury Week, with SIJE 2026 opening the week from 9 to 12 July, and the Congress following from 12 to 15 July.

This development is a testament to Singapore’s growing stature in the global diamond trade, and we are proud to be working alongside Mr. Fabio Cascapera, Chairman of the Diamond Exchange of Singapore, to bring this vision to life.
None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our partners and community. Thanks to our Local Host, the Singapore Jewellers Association, as well as our supporting organisations: the ASEAN Gems and Jewellery Trade Association, the Diamond Exchange of Singapore, the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, and the Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association. Your continued belief in SIJE inspires us to keep raising the bar.
In the coming decade, we want SIJE to serve not just as a marketplace, but as a creative and commercial hub for the global jewellery community.
